FRANÇAIS: Cette montagne sacrée des indiens Navajos est un site mythique rempli de légendes en plus d'être un important phénomène géologique. La lumière tamisée du soleil tout juste couché derrière nous lui donne une lueur en harmonie avec le crépuscule et la pleine lune levante. Nous avions planifié cette photographie plusieurs jours à l'avance et la température clémente nous a permis d'associer ces deux symboles que sont la pleine lune et Shiprock.

ENGLISH: This mythical mountain holds several Navajo legends and is a sacred mountain for these indians. It also is an important geological phenomena. The sifted light coming from the just-set sun is in perfect harmony with the twilight colors and the rising full moon. We planned this combination of Shiprock and rising full moon several days before going to this mythical place. Thanks to a perfect weather, we could make the planned photographs combining both symbols that are Shiprock and the Full Moon.
